Simulates theater air warfare.
- Approximately 125 military, civilian and civilian contractors
assigned
- Provides state-of-the-art simulations of several Air Force and
Army sensors and weapon systems
- $14 million, 80,000 square-foot building
- A controller in Oklahoma, an F-15 pilot in New Mexico and a general
in Florida can participate in a large-scale air- warfare exercise
without ever leaving the ground
- Exercise scenarios can be played out for weeks at a time
- Part of the Aerospace Command & Control Agency based at Langley
AFB, Virginia
- Only facility in the USAF that can train, test, analyze and refine
tactics, techniques and procedures in a fully integrated real-time
environment
- Simulation saves money, time, equipment and lives
